Dr. Andrew Wakefield, ”in pursuit of the possible links between childhood vaccines, intestinal inflammation, and neurologic injury in children, lost his job in the Department of Medicine at London’s Royal Free Hospital, his country, his career, and his medical license.”
Why are you reading about this here? Because it’s part of my bigger mission to bring to light the injustices purported by the big businesses who prevent alternative and holistic information from being given to us, the people who have a right to them, because we live in free countries.
The latest stats from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported in April are, autism now affects an estimated one in 88 kids. Among boys, the burden is even higher: about one in 54. 2 years prior it was 1 in 125. This affects people we all know. As the use of medicines, vaccines, and chemicals in our food, the production of food, and lifestyle products increases so do the numbers of children diagnosed with some form of autism. Tell me there is no link.
His point was not to stop vaccinating it was to suggest giving each of the 3 vaccinations usually given in one combo-shot–measles, mumps, and rubella–separately. His research went further into the treatment of children with autism and their families as he became an advocate and some would say a champion for this growing group. And yet docs like Wakefield who are sounding the warning cry–not to eliminate preventive care but to modulate how it is performed–are put out of business?
Criminal and not the exception but sadly the rule when it comes to docs making a huge difference but going against the grain of the western medical machine.
Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski, MD, Ph.D is another doctor who was libeled, arrested, forced at gun point to surrender files and his office and much more brutality. His crime? An alternative cancer treatment that gets results for the sickest of patients, the ones told to go home and “get their things in order.”
These are but two stories of way too many like them where an alternative remedy or support for traditional medicine is being kept quiet, shut down, or defamed. Dr. Burzynski is out of the clear for now, practicing in a gorgeous clinic, saving the lives of thousands of patients around the world. Dr. Wakefield is not that lucky yet. The whole childhood vaccine thing scares me so much, its so hard to make a decision as to what to get your kids to do with so much conflicting and mis information out there. I honestly think that a lot of the time you are better off not having anything done and letting nature take it course. While the whole concept of vaccines is wonderful I do have a serious underlying worry about the whole thing.

I stumbled on the whole idea of “big” – big pharma, big ag, big “whatever” – when the whole NAIS thing came into being about a decade ago. Once I found “big” I started looking for “real” and “true” NOT such easy things to find these days!!

When enough of us have finally found our own truths, and begin to see the truth that is out there in the world, then the “big” guys won’t be able to destroy so many lives (plant, animal and human!) as they currently do – and all in the name of the Almighty Dollar.
